The Four Realities

The Four Realities aren't just a place. They also provide the material for inhabitants of the Beanworld to make things.

Both Beanish and Professor Garbanzo make use of the elements of the Four Realities. Beanish uses them to make his Fabulous Look·See·Shows and Beanworld Action Effigies, while Professor Garbanzo makes tools out of them.

The extent of the Four Realities is unknown.

The story of the Proffy's discovery of the Four Realities is told in issue 21, The First Time Professor Garbanzo Discovered The Four Realities.

Slats

Slats make up the highest level of the Four Realities. A slat plus a chip (along with some gunk'l'dunk) make a spear. Slats are also a part of Pluk'n Wands, Floativation Station, and are the major component of most Look·See·Shows. It also appears that most of the Chowdown Pool is made of Slats.

Hoops

Hoops are below slats. They are used to make tools, and have appeared in games such as slapslat. The containing end of a Pluk'n Wand is made from a Hoop that has been broken by a Chip. A modified hoop can be made into a Pluk'n'Pak, as seen in page 52 of "Remember Here When You Are There!"

Twinks

Twinks are the third level down. For a long time Professor Garbanzo had no idea what they were for, or how they could be used. This continued until one day the Float Factor was discovered (in issue 4, Beanish Breaks Out!). Twinks appear to be like a power source for other devices. but have other mysterious properties as well. If it weren't for Twinks, Beanish could not jump to visit Dreamishness. The Float Factor is used in floativation stations, which allow them to float for a designated period of time.

Chips

Chips make up the level closest to the Bone Zone. Chips are used to make spears, and as wedges to break things open. Chipskates are made out of a single Chip that has been infused with Float Force. Many Look-See-Shows also use them.
